Kings and Princesses, Warriors and Castles, "Nemo" and "Hippos", Caves to Discover
This is a tour for families with children above 7 years old, who can already manage steps, bicycles, are not afraid of water and feel enthusiastic with the different components of the tour.
The 1st day is dedicated to Lisbon. Kids always like to use different means of transportattion and today we have them all: metro, bus, cabble car, amphibious bus (use the daily ticket further in town for a tram/funicular ride).
We'll visit the 4th biggest Aquarium in the World, travel by cabble car and visit Lisbon on land and water with an amphibious bus.
The 2nd day is the "King, Princesses, castle and palace's day". We'll go to Sintra UNESCO site and start with climbing the ramparts of the castle. Let's enjoy our picknic box (not included). After lunch we'll come to a fairy tale palace. . . and walk down thousand steps to the city center of Sintra.
3rd day
We'll finish with the Outskirts of Lisbon, since it's a lighter tour but we'll finish with the largest caves in Portugal at Mira D'Aire
Itinerary
Tours can start between 9 am and 10 am.
1st day
9:00 - Today we'll use mostly the public means of transportation. Departure from hotel to the place from where you'll leave on an Panoramic Tour, with a special amphibious bus that will take you first through Lisbon and then through the tejo River. (1h30)
Before lunch we'll have the opportunity to ride a funicular and take a lift, or maybe a tram to downtown. Free time for lunch.
Ride with bus to the Aquarium (guided tour by me). Let's find Nemo!
Ride the cable car - it's high up here!
Return by metro.
2nd day
9:15 - Departure to Sintra and climb the castle's ramparts. They are really high and you need to be fit! (2 hours)
Break
Visit Pena Palace (outside) and it's Gardens.
3rd day
9:00 - Departure from Lisbon to the caves Mira Daire (1h40)
10:40 - Visit (1h30)
12:30 - Drive back
