Bahrain is a desert country, and that means climates are harsh and there are only two main seasons in the year; Summer and Winter. December to March is the best time to visit Bahrain when pleasant weather is observed throughout the archipelago.
There is a small interval of a few months in between where the climate is quite pleasant. Having said that if you are an ardent fan of motorsports, then you will have to plan your trip from March to April since Bahrain plays host to Formula 1.
Crime rates in Bahrain are relatively low and violent crime is rare which makes Bahrain very safe to visit. And even though this is the case, you shouldn't let your guard down and relax completely because burglary, petty theft, and robberies are the most common forms of crime in this country.
Bahrain, a small Arab state, is situated in a bay on the southwestern coast of the Persian Gulf. It is an archipelago consisting of Bahrain Island and some 30 smaller islands. It is situated between Qatar and the northeastern coast of Saudi Arabia, to which it is connected by the King Fahd Causeway.
Arabic is the official language of Bahrain, but English is widely spoken. It is used in business and is a compulsory second language in schools. Among the non-Bahraini population, many people speak Farsi, the official language of Iran, or Urdu, the official language of Pakistan.
