Let's visit and go through the region of cork oaks and olive groves
This tour takes us to one of the hidden gems of Portugal, Évora. Leaving Lisbon and headed towards south we will cross the bridge over the Tagus and travel through the Alentejo Region, home of the cork trees and rolling plains. Arriving in Évora, capital city of the Alentejo and considered world heritage by Unesco in 1986 we will see the well preserved roman Temple, Cathedral, Saint Francis Church with bone Chapel and walk through the centre. Interesting are the cork products and handicraft works of the shops. Free time for lunch. Possibility to visit a winery in Évora.
After lunch return to Lisbon . I drive a fully licensed minivan with all the insurances required.

A Recent Review of this tour
Read More Reviews For This TourWe had a great day in Evora with Susana. She is knowledgeable of the history and she is considerate of the people's needs and interests. It was about 107 degrees, yet Susana ensured that our day was complete. When we booked the tour, we asked to visit the Christ the King statue and the 23 of April Bridge -- and even though it was late in the day and traffic was busy, she wanted us to see what we had planned. She is patient and speaks English very clearly. We enjoyed our tour very much!
