Taroko National Park is located northeast of the midpoint in the island nation of Taiwan, and the area covers an area of 360 square miles
The park derived its name from the gorge created by the Liwu River. Without question, it is one of the main appeals of the national park. The river has carved through the marble mountain establishing a stunning gorge worthy of exploration and viewing.
Taroko features a collection of natural and man-made facets that make a visit to this national park appropriate for everyone. There are facets of travel where each person will find something they value.
The Swallow Grotto trail, The Tunnel of Nine Turns trial are attractions that most visitors look to experience. and the Suspension Bridge provides the willing participant to look down below the amazing river and scenery.
The Eternal Spring Shrine is one of the cultural and historical features of the park and a stunning photographic scene.

Read More Reviews For This TourThe Toroko Gorge is an indescribable natural wonder. Pictures can not do it justice. We were so very fortunate to have Allen as our guide. He was so knowledgeable about Taiwan, its history, people and nature. We really learned so much from him. And we covered a lot of ground but never felt rushed. We did several short hikes and one longer one - the ShakadangTrail which was stunning. Having a guide - and particularly Allen made all this possible. We can't thank him enough and highly recommend him.
