I grew up traveling the state with my father as he worked on construction sites as an engineer. I have a B. A. in political science from the University of Alaska and there is little I don't know about Alaska history and culture. I am part Native-Alaskan (some people call them Eskimo) and know much about that part of my family tree. I am proud to be Alaskan and enjoy sharing my knowledge of the Great Land with visitors from all over the world.
* I am fully vaccinated plus have gotten a booster.

A Recent Review of this guide
Read ReviewsRyan was professional and courteous. He had a great sense of humor too. It was wonderful having a true local conduct the tour. He allowed plenty of time at each stop for us to get out, look around and even walk a bit. There were many highlights and little extras he provided…..like his high powered binoculars to see the mountain goats high on the cliffs overlooking Turnagan point. We ended the trip at a local burger place called roadrunner arctic burger serving the best burgers. Thanks Ryan!

Restrictions
My Ford transit van seats up to 11 passengers (driver not included). It also has room for luggage for 11. I can accommodate larger groups of up to 14, but this involves renting a larger van which is about $500 extra.
