A day to discover the magic of London
I have created this tour to give a first time visitor a true immersion into this wonderful city and to see most of the famous sites in one day. The morning walking tour will include Buckingham Palace and the Westminster Abbey before embarking by riverboat to the Tower of London to see the Crown jewels and hear the stories of great intrigue. We will then walk over to the South Bank and pass by Borough Market, a must for food lovers. Walking along the South Bank is what I love to do whenever I have free time and is a top favourite for many Londoners. This tour gives me the opportunity, as an academic social historian, not only to share my passion for the city's history as we walk through the centuries but also to give you a sense of life in London today.

The morning tour is approximately 2. 5 hours. The riverboat journey is half an hour and there will be a lunch break before continuing the rest of the tour. All sites are viewed from the outside apart from the Tower of London.
