The largest new urban park in Britain for 100 years
Some are still surprised that London was chosen to host the 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
This walking tour will tell you the story of the QEOP and it's incredible transformation from an industrial wasteland to the largest new public park in Britain for more than 100 years. For a nominal extra fee £2pp, we can also visit some of the venues including the London Aquatics Centre, designed by World leading architect Zaha Hadid and the Lee Valley Velo Park, the site of Team GB's greatest success at London 2012.
You will be amazed. . . . .
