I've been in this amazing part of London for a decade and I love it so much, I want to show you why East is best!
How can you get the feeling of having visited the real East London, without leaving your home? Come with me on a virtual journey using pictures, videos and of course myself. From my own unusual base in the city, we'll explore what makes this part of London the coolest, the hippest, the most unusual.
Okay, I'm massively biased after a decade finding the non-touristy and off-the-beaten-track good stuff here! Some New Yorkers compare it to Brooklyn or Williamsburg: but whatever you compare it to, you won't find this exciting and rich mix of culture and radical history anywhere else in our great city.

We'll start off with an orientation so you can see how London developed over the centuries.
Then we'll shift East and leave the medieval city behind and move into the Dickensian 19th Century.
We'll (virtually) walk the streets and get a look at the diverse cultures and subcultures that make this area so interesting.
Stop off at a hidden street art gallery to briefly see what excites artists about this quarter.
Take a secret peek into the hidden warehouse culture that created underground artist colonies (think Basquiat's New York). BTW, most Londoners don't even know about this!
Where did the Olympics take place and how are they shaping the future East London?
Discover the foods & beers that make this melting pot such a great place to eat out (and drink in!).
Nature - be amazed at the richness of nature here, so green and yet so close to the Megacity's hub.
