Tonga's rich history dates back 3000 years with many ancient traditions continuing respectfully through to the present day. Our Royal Monarchy is 1000 years old and is the South Pacific's only remaining Kingdom, also known as the "Friendly Islands" because of the hospitable reception given to Captain James Cook on his first visit in 1773.
My education, career and volunteer background have all been focused on the development, promotion and history of my country. Inspiring and creating opportunities through sports, education and empowering locals to be active and take pride by engaging in productive community activities, such as, voluntary rubbish clean up areas and encouraging a safe, happy environment for all.
