This two stop out of town all day trip is a great way to relax. It is a great diversion from the big city buzz of London.
I am a specialist accredited Windsor Castle guide friendly, knowledgeable, fun & helpful. Being a trained professional Blue badge Guide I can take you around Windsor Castle, connect the present day town to historical roots. It is the oldest and largest continually occupied Castle in the world where our previous Queen lived until 2022. Windsor is ancient, compact, pedestrian friendly, & great place for lunch by the River.
I am knowledgeable about pre-history and Stonehenge. Although this is a world famous ring of stones, it is set in the heart of the old kingdom of Wessex and just one of many prehistoric remains where more is being learnt all the time with ongoing archaeology which I am happy to discuss at length! The whole day is relaxed, flexible to see some of the English countryside along the way, looking out for a lunch pub stop. I am university educated with a wide cultural view
Itinerary
8. 30am Meet at your hotel and collected by air conditioned, chauffeur driven vehicle.
8. 30am - 9:30am Travel to Windsor
10. 00 - 13 30pm. Windsor Castle tour and Town & Lunch break.
13. 30 - 14. 30 Drive to Stonehenge
14. 30 - 16. 30 Stonehenge Site + exhibition
16. 30 - 19. 00 Return to London and Hotel for early evening

This trip will be by chauffeur driven Mercedes V Class transporter or similar and guide. If the tour group is 3 or less a smaller vehicle can be used which can help on the tour cost. If Private chauffeured transport is required at least one week or more prior notice is necessary in peak holiday times to guarantee a vehicle
