You'll be "blown away" with how we transform cork into shoes, umbrellas, seats, book covers, bags and so many unique pieces that you can take home and offer as an unforgettable gift. It's like leather but ecological!
Return passing by the beautiful green landscape of Arrabida Mountain Range. Admire the clear blue waters of the ocean and finish visiting a tile factory in Azeitão. Use your free time to taste the "yammi" cheeses, wines and other specialties that Alentejo Region has to offer you and that we Portuguese love so much!
Itinerary
Departure times available 8. 30/9 am.
- Drive from Lisbon crossing the 17, 5 kms long Vasco da Gama Bridge to the Cork Factory (1h45)
- Visit (35 mins)
- Drive to Évora (30 mins)
- Walking tour in Évora (1h)
- Lunch break (1h30) or Winery visit with local tapas (extra 47. 50 euros per person)
- Drive to Arrabida Mountain Range (1h)
- Drive through Arrabida Natural Park (1h)
- Visit a Tile Factory (30 mins)(tile painting costs 40 euros)
- Drive to the Christ Statue Monument (30 mins) and stop to admire the amazing wide views of Lisbon. (20 mins)
- Drive back to Lisbon (20 mins)
If it happens the Cork factory to be closed we'll visit the "Arraiolos Rugs Interpretation Center" in Arraiolos Town.
Meeting Point + Tour Duration
Meeting Point Options: Rail or Bus Station, Cruise Ship Port, Airport, Hotel, Address or Intersection, Monument/Building, Suggested by Guide: When the location provided by the guests is not good to stop/park the vehicle, I'll provide another meeting spot.

New Volkswagen Multivan T7 with full panoramic roof, panoramic windows, spacious, individual comfortable seats with arms, Individual rear A/C, 2 sliding doors at the back for easy entry and exit of the car, C charging doors. 2 bottles of water per person.
Renault Scenic with 7 seats, ideal for families with children. With 5 seats in use it has a very spacious trunk. Very spacious.With rear A/C and charging USB doors.
BMW Series 5 Mercedes E or S and Tesla Cars available.

Estimated Local Cash Needed
100 EURO - Guests will need about 10€/person for a light lunch.
Apart from these "necessary" costs you can buy wine, olive oil, cork goods, etc. In this case I would recommend 50€/person. In the cork factory: ONLY Cash accepted to buy cork goods.
In the Tile Factory cards are accepted.

Winery visit - 47.50€ with wines and local tapas

I have no restrictions as a Licensed Tourist Guide - I am allowed to do guide you inside all monuments all over Portugal.
Note that there are no "skip the line" tickets in Portugal.
