Vancouver, WA, United StatesAllen gave us a wonderful Tour of Toroko Gorge. He adjusted to our wish to be outdoors and walk within the gorge. He was helpful, courteous and shared his deep knowledge of Taiwan with us. He is an excellent driver, giving all 6 of us a feeling of safety. It rained on and off all day, and he was ready with umbrellas for those who wanted them.

United KingdomAllen was just perfect for us, as we wanted a day out in the Gorges and that is what we got! He dropped us and picked us up further down the planned trails. We all loved the fact that we were able to avoid all the buses and tour groups, as Allen planned everything well so that our paths were walked by us alone! That was a real blessing, as it turned out to be a very crowded day elsewhere on the trails. Allen has a gentle manner and he fit well with us, as we came from 5 different countries. Recommendable!

United StatesThe Toroko Gorge is an indescribable natural wonder. Pictures can not do it justice. We were so very fortunate to have Allen as our guide. He was so knowledgeable about Taiwan, its history, people and nature. We really learned so much from him. And we covered a lot of ground but never felt rushed. We did several short hikes and one longer one - the ShakadangTrail which was stunning. Having a guide - and particularly Allen made all this possible. We can't thank him enough and highly recommend him.

Allen is friendly, super helpful, punctual and extremely knowledgeable about Taroko Gorge National Park, but also Taiwan history. He made adjustments as we took the tour to get us the very best experience based on current conditions. I would highly recommend Allen's Taroko Gorge National Park tour.
