We went on the San Sebastian tour he kept us entertained the entire trip, and drove very professionally. Stopped at some great food locations to try some local food too. If your interested in traditional Mexican culture in the mountain valley you should not miss this tour.

Cervando Ocegueda is very engaging tour guide who knows a great deal of historical and natural history specific to the area. Mr. Ocegueda's excels in many skills needed for a successful tour guide- excellent driver, good listener, intuitive in decision making based upon his guest request and fully bilingual in English/Spanish.

United StatesThe San Sebastian tour is perfect for those who want a quick getaway, and to see a little more of this great country. On the tour, we stopped at a local bakery for breakfast along the way. Once in San Sebastian, we walked along cobble stone streets and spent time in the main plaza. We visited a local jeweler, had a traditional Mexican lunch, and did some shopping. Cervando is very knowledgeable and has a great pride for Mexico and really loves what he does. He's a wonderful guide.

We stopped at several enjoyable local places (bakery and tequila distillery). San Sebastian was lovely and interesting. For us, it was terrific to get away from the "resort experience" and spend the day with a friendly, knowledgeable local guide. Cervando is top notch and he goes out of his way to ensure you enjoy and learn.

We took our two children (ages 10 and 13) on our tour and Cervando did a great job of adapting the tour to interest them (a stop to help with car sickness, doing more walking, including a chocolate maker instead of the tequila distillery), while still including the cultural and historical background we were interested in. This was definitely a highlight of our trip to Bucerias! Thank you Cervando!

So welcoming and friendly with a personal history of the area, people and culture. It was so easy to have conversation throughout our day (some in Spanish for my college daughter which was great). Our goal was to ensure the girls did and learned more than ziplines and beaches when visiting Mexico. Cervando exceeded our expectations. He picked us up directly at our hotel, with a cooler full of snacks and a smile a mile long. Our time was well spent, and the tour was a highlights of our trip. We learned the history and traditions of the country and so much.

Our stops included a bakery that had tasty empanadas with different fillings and a tequila distillery across the bridge. We sampled several different tequila that they make. At San Sebastian we visited a coffee farm and Cervando showed us how the coffee beans were made. We sampled the coffee and fresh fruits. United StatesWe are so glad that we selected the day tour to San Sebastian with Cervando. The drive into the mountains was beautiful! We stopped at Panaderia Bakery along the way and enjoyed delicious sweet breads and coffee. Cervando was a great tour guide and shared much about the history/culture of the area, the agriculture, including blue agava plant and cocoa beans, and tasted "raicilla" (mezcal of Jalisco) at a local distillery. We had plenty of time to explore and eat lunch in San Sebastian. Memorable trip.

There was no pressure to buy at any of the stops (coffee plantation, tequila distillery, small shops) which was appreciated and very different from large bus tours we have previously taken. He is a very safe driver and planned a great day full of history, natural beauty and local colour. He introduced us to local residents including children and local police. United StatesCervando was great. He was on time, had a nice air conditioned van. He gave us suggestions on where to stop and what to do. We had 3 teens and he kept us at a nice pace. On our beautiful drive, he even stopped to save a turtle that was crossing the busy road. My kids were even able to hold the turtle. I will rebook Cervando and do another tour with him when we come back to Puerto Vallarta.

CanadaOur family of 7 had an incredible time touring San Sebastian and the gorgeous vistas and villages along the mountain route! Cervando's passion for his country, the land and the people was the best part of the tour. We learned about the area's history, the flora and fauna of the mountains and met many of his local friends along the way. We stopped at a small-batch Tequila producer, a local restaurant for delicious hand-made tortillas and seasonal food. Thank you Cervando for an unforgettable experience!
