United StatesEros led us on a great tour of the island. He speaks great English and was fun and engaging the whole day. We saw most of the island and worked our way from North to South with stops in the vineyards (at his favorite places) halfway through the day. He knows all the good lookout points where no tourists go and his vehicle was comfy and the conversation all day was great!

BEAVERTON, OREGON, United StatesWe did have some confusion regarding meeting point which did cause a bit of a late start but, once we met up Eros was very accommodating of our group. He sized up that we weren't up to doing long walks and adjusted the tour to fit our needs making suggestions of sight we could visit without a lot of physical activity. We saw both the greener part of the island and also acres and acres of lava in the National Park. It was a relaxing and enjoyable day.

United StatesEros was good at working with us on the many itenerary changes of the cruise ship and we appreciate that. As for the tour itself, I'm not sure he was in touch with what we wanted. I explained to him we were geocachers and would like to make stops and wanted to see Timanfaya. The only stop he made there was at the camels which we specifically noted we did not have interest in. Next we knew, we were leaving Timanfaya. Most of the day was driving around without stops. Very disappointing.
TOUR GUIDE RESPONSE: Oh so sorry Dear I thought the geocachers was not the priority why did you not say during the day? Then there is not to many spot in the street to stop ( you saw it) and for me safety is a priority. The stop at the camels was not for the animals it self but because is the only bathroom in that area so I did it for your comfort. Hope was not to bad as we covered loads of extra things and lookouts of a normal tour. Good luck for all

United StatesOur guide was actually Luca Zaccagnino, a trusted colleague of Eros. He was a great guide. Took us to what we wanted to see and was not offended when we chose not to see certain things. He tailored our tour to us. He was very enjoyable, knowledgeable and had his own history of travel so knew what our mind set was. I will always look to Tours By Locals in the future. We have never been disappointed!

United StatesEros gave my husband and I a wonderful tour of Lanzarote, covering as much of the island as possible during the short time of our cruise ship stop. We were able to hike into a crater, walk in the lava fields, taste the wonderful local wines, and see many aspects of this fascinating and unique island. Eros was extremely knowledgeable and conscientious, customizing our tour based on our requests. His English was excellent, I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone.
