We very much enjoyed riding with her to Sintra and seeing the palaces. United StatesMarta picked me up at the airport. My flight was 3 1/2 hours late. She adjusted her schedule and was there when I arrived. We had a wonderful afternoon. Marta's tour was very informative, and she obviously loves her country. I highly recommend her tours. The custard tarts in Belem are amazing.

United StatesSpectacular Sintra and Pena Palace! Don't miss it on your visit to Portugal. Marta had us in there and the entire palace toured before the crowds came in. No lines or waiting for us! She was so efficient and really gave us a great tour!
TOUR GUIDE RESPONSE: Thank you Preetha, for your sweet words. Well, Sintra is really a place no one should miss... And Pena Palace is breathtaking. Worth the early wake up call, no doubt. I don't like crowds myself and I think that when we're on vacation that's really something we'd love to avoid. It's so much nicer to wander around calmly, definitely we can enjoyed much more like that :)

United StatesMarta was so helpful from even before the tour began - She emailed to confirm and gave us other suggestions for our upcoming trip. Her tour took into account all the things we discussed beforehand. She was knowledgeable about history, art, architecture and local culture. We really enjoyed our time with her so much that we booked another 1/2 day with her in Lisbon.
