CanadaAlthough I did not participate in this tour I organized it for 8 of the 16 people in my group. I joined the other 7 with another TBL tour guide. Having said that the feedback I got was all 100% positive. Yumi was engaging, articulate in English, and provided great insight to Japan during the tour. I would not hesitate to book her again and hope that I get the chance to spend time with her at some future point.

We were only going to be in Japan for three days and wanted to see and experience as much of a Tokyo as possible. I reached out to Yumi two months in advance and shared our dates, interests and preferences. Yumi freed up her calendar and accepted my request, and worked closely with me planning our tour, including hiring a private van and driver to maximize time and distance. United StatesLooking for the perfect guide for Tokyo and the surrounding areas? Choose Yumi! We couldn't have asked for a more informative, attentive, entertaining guide. Along with Yumi's driver, we visited the old and modern areas of Tokyo. We visited the fish market, Hamarikyu Garden, Asakusa Sensoji Buddhist Temple, the Imperial Palace, and the high-end shopping streets in Ginza. Later, we set out again to experience Shibuya - the busiest crossing in the world. We enjoyed a delicious dinner - locals style.

United StatesYumi's tour was the highlight of our family vacation to Tokyo. She was on-time, very easy to communicate with, and the van was very comfortable with refrigerated water and wifi. Yumi was very knowlegable and very flexible to hit the quirky things we waned to see, and kept us on schedule to make sure we saw the must-see sites. Yumi interacted well with our daughters (ages 11 & 15) and provided lots of cultural insights between stops.

She rushed us at the morning shopping at the temple then was looking for ways to fill in extra time later that day so the pacing could have been better. She failed to take into consideration my request that we eat lunch at a place that took credit cards. I mentioned that to her 3 times and as we drove up to the restaurant she assured me it did. It did not. Then I had informed her we do not eat seafood or drink liquor yet the dinner she preordered had both
TOUR GUIDE RESPONSE: Thank you for choosing me as your guide to organize a long day tour packed with many projects.You requested many things and changed some of programs again and again so this was difficult to adapt to, but I did my best.In addition, If I knew your situation in advance,I would have more caution and adapted.Japan is not friendly country to credit card users,it was my memory error that the sushi train we had lunch, supposed to charge the credit cards. However we decided on site on the day to go there.

United StatesYumi provided us an excellent tour. The tour comprised two sites which we wanted to visit and two which she suggested. She arranged for the tour by van, and the driver, too, was excellent. We loved the rushed,fast food Mosburger lunch she engineered along the busy Ginza. Yumi is very knowledgeable, but does not overwhelm with detail, allowing us to explore and enjoy at our pace. We would certainly call on her again.
