He was fascinated by Fado and he authentically passed this feeling on to us. Following the approximately 2-hour tour of Alfama, we stopped at a well-known Fado restaurant. Adriano had already reserved the seats. We were able to relax and listen to the fado singers singing while enjoying delicious food and drinks. Unfortunately, we didn't speak Portuguese, but Adriano translated the lyrics.

I was traveling with 2 college age kids and they had a great time and loved their meals. Our tour was intimate and unique. Highly customized. We saw streets and shops and neighborhoods we would never have seen. The FADO house was beyond incredible. The meal special. The Faudistas were the most beautiful singers. This tour took our breath away. If I can only recommend 1 thing in Lisbon it would be to spend time with Adriano doing this tour! 100/100

United StatesBook this tour! It was the highlight of my 3 nights in Lisbon. Adriano was informative and interesting. He took me to places that I hadn't seen, and the ones that I had seen gave a completely different perspective at night. His background in sociology lent a unique perspective, including the social dynamics between the various neighborhoods & the rise of Fado music in Lisbon and other parts of Portugal. The Fado house we went to was a small venue and as authentic as it gets. I highly recommend this tour.

United StatesAdriano is a very personable and enthusiastic guide. He knows Lisbon and Fado history extremely well. The Fado Club we went to was small, intimate and very far away from the usual tourist track. The evening was an unforgettable experience ending with locals from the neighborhood dropping by to jam with the musicians after the last set was finished. I can't recommend this tour highly enough.
