Explore 5, 000 year old Stonehenge - the most famous prehistoric monument in the world, and the beautiful Cotswold city of Bath and some of the villages and countryside of the Cotswolds.
We will follow the footsteps of our Neolithic ancestors across the ancient landscape and as well as seeing Stonehenge's awe-inspiring stones we will explore the recreations of Neolithic homes and ancient objects found during excavations.
We will then drive to the beautiful Georgian City of Bath to wander around and explore its historic Abbey, squares, crescents, narrow Cotswold stone streets, with the option of visiting inside the famous Roman Baths and/or a historic Georgian house in the Royal Crescent depending on time/preference.
Itinerary
The driver and I will meet you at your hotel at 8. 30am to drive to Stonehenge (approximately 90 miles/2 hours from central London).
Once we have explored Stonehenge we will drive on to Bath to explore the highlights of this World Heritage Site City.
From Bath, it is around 115 miles/2 and a half hours back into central London. where we will drop you back at your hotel. Inevitably traffic can be unpredictable but my drivers keep an eye on conditions and take the most efficient route where possible.
