This tour is a 6-hour private tour.
If you want to get to know Tokyo well in a limited amount of time, this is the perfect tour for you.
I will choose the best possible destinations to suit your taste. Typically, the tour visits 3 or 4 must-see places in Tokyo.
I will briefly explain Japan's history and show you both modern and old Tokyo. I especially like doing this tour because I could tell you some historical background that might be unnoticed if you visited the sites yourself. I like history, especially when Edo, former Tokyo, became the political center of Japan during the 17th to 19th centuries. That period was the foundation of today's Tokyo.

Itinerary

10:00 Your hotel lobby in central Tokyo
- 10:30 Asakusa: Tokyo's oldest temple, Sensoji temple, and its approach, Nakamise shopping street
- 12:15 Hama-rikyu Garden: Shogun's garden, that dates back to the 17th century.
- 13:30 Lunch
- 15:00 Meiji Shrine
16:00 Tour ends in the Harajuku area.
*I will tell you how to go back to your hotel.

- Rikugien Garden: a traditional Japanese garden made by a samurai lord in the Edo period and was regarded as one of the most beautiful gardens in Edo, former Tokyo.
- Tsukiji market
- Akihabara
- The Imperial Palace Plaza: the entrance area to the Palace
*We cannot enter the palace.
- The Imperial Palace East Garden - the site where Shogun's castle was located 400 years ago. *It is usually closed on Monday and Friday.
- Ginza: Sophisticated and upscale shopping district
