How to be squeezed like a local in the public trams
This is a day you'll never forget! Keep reading.
Tourists are always asking guides for local restaurants, do local activities, go where the poor Portuguese go and specially they want to ride on the typical trams of Lisbon.
Guides always advice that this is a bad idea but they never trust us!! Why?
So. . . today you can see how it is to wait hours in the buses, trams, funiculars and lifts lines while walking in the ancient area of Lisbon.
After lunch we'll take the a tram or public bus to Belém where we'll walk to the Monastery of Saint Jerome (Unesco) for a picture, cross to the Monument of the Discoveries and finish at the Belem Tower.
The return to your final destination should be on your own - a proof you've understood how Portuguese get around in Lisbon.
Forbidden to complain after all the text above!
Good news? YES! If you come on weekdays you'll be the only ones, since Tourism is still recovering.
