Itinerary
This tour's route can be adjusted according to one's likings.
As the earthquake simulator is only available on reservation, on occasions it may not always be accessible.
The tour implies quite extensive walking within some areas, though the main transfers occur by train.
This would be the full route:
- pick up at your hotel or at any other place of your choice
- In Kami-Nakazato experience the Earthquake simulator and relax in Kyu-Furukawa gardens
- transfer to Sugamo, visit of the main street with its shops, food stalls and temples
- transfer to Monzen-Nakacho, walk (overall 20/25 minutes) to the Enma (Warden of hell) shrine and visit of Fukagawa Fudodo temple
- transfer to Asakusa, walking tour (overall 45/55 minutes) to the Kappa and the Maneki Neko (good luck cat) shrine
- time allowing transfer to Iidabashi station and walk (10 minutes) to Suidobashi's observation deck, or visit to the Uchumura (space village) shop in Shinjuku

The Earthquake simulator needs to be reserved in advance and may already be fully booked, depending on the time of the year. It is closed on Mondays (except on national holidays, when it closes on the following Monday) and around New Year's holidays.
Kyu-Furukawa gardens close from 29/12 to 1/1.
