City of London walk.
Discovering the historic city of London from the Romans literally metres beneath the streets up to the present day, we will see wonderful architecture from previous centuries and the new cutting edge sky scrapers The Gherkin, Cheese-grater, Walkie Talkie to name a few.
I will tell you about the Historic Livery Companies (trade guilds) lots of interesting stories behind the trades and their origins and traditions also the beautiful churches and their connections to the city see some of the "pocket parks" tucked away in side streets.
The walk is a great way to get to know the city 2, 000 years rolled into a few hours of leisurely walking and discovering what the city has to offer.
